Question about 3Dconnexion Picture Viewer

Post by Pez001 »

I'm trying to locate the .exe (or .dll) file for the 3DConnexion Picture Viewer, so that I can assign some some buttons on my Wacom tablet to that application.

It might be a .dll, as Task Manager is saying that it's using rundll32.exe, but I have no idea where the .dll is.

Hi Pez001,

Do you want to launch the 3DxViewer application?

Run:

RunDLL32 shimgxx.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen FullPathfilename.jpg

from the 3Dconnexion Picture Viewer directory. By default (for en_us) this is under C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3Dconnexion 3DxSoftware.

You're correct. The 3Dconnexion Picture Viewer applet (3DxViewer) is only available on Windows XP SP2.

Open your Control panel
Go to add remove programs,
select 3DConnexion choose change.
Select Modify,
Make sure the Picture viewer is checked
click next
This should install the picture viewer driver.
