Maya : Exit Component selection mode randomly

3DxWare 10.2.2

With right-click menu, I can not enter Component selection mode(CV, Curve point, etc..).
And when sometime i can enter the mode, Maya exit the mode after camera operation on Persp camera view(even with normal mouse).
This DOES NOT happen after 3Dx plugin off.

Strangely, this does not happen few hours work just after new scene. but once it happen, it continue forever.

I feel super frustration with this issue so i want developer to check this out and fix.
if need, i can send sample project having this issue.

This bug has been floating around for a while in various forms. I don't know why it hasn't been fixed. Your issue with the right click menu is a new one to me. Maybe you should check how your side buttons are programed? I can help you with the deselection problem, though. It just needs a quick setting change.

Go to your 3dConnexion properties and hit the Advanced Settings button while in Maya. (What program you have active changes the panel.)

Under Navigation Modes, turn on Use Selected Item.

Your selection issue should be fixed.
