Spacemouse wireless on SolidWorks 2015

Post by clintongrover »

I have a Spacemouse wireless with 3DXWare 10.2.3 and it is not working in SolidWorks 2015. It will very infrequently decide to zoom out. It doesn't even move puzzle pieces in the puzzle but it will rotate it. I tried: http://www.3dconnexion.com/index.php?id ... d=faq/1100. I also deleted all previous drivers and SolidWorks 2014. I've had the mouse about 7 mo. When I unplug it the light immediately goes off but it has been charging for days. It's driving me insane not having my other arm. DID YOU DIE LITTLE MOUSE?

Hi clintongrover,

I assume that the addin is not loaded in SolidWorks. Have you done a repair installation after you installed SolidWorks 2015? See if that helps.

If not let me know if the plugin is loaded. See Tools -> Add-Ins -> Other Add-Ins if you have an entry "3Dcontrol" and if it is loaded.

Yup, I just needed to turn the add-in on. Now I feel stupid. Thanks!

You are not at all stupid. This should be loaded by default. I am glad we could solve the issue. :)

I am having the same issue except that I have the Add In turned on. I have the most recent drive installed, SolidWorks Student Edition 2015, and version 3.3.0 for the SolidWorks 3Dconnexion Add-In.

Any help?
