Spacenavigator interfering Windows

Post by fhansson925 »

I have a Spacenavigator mouse and recently installed the new version 10 drivers. I have a problem with that the mouse is activated in every program I open in Windows and starts to drift away in menus and like so I constantly have to recalibrate it. The service also takes 1-3% cpu when the computer is idle. How can I disable the driver at startup to not interfere in other programs than just CAD programs and start it only when I need to?

Hi fhansson925,

this feature is currently not available. We are tracking this as enhancement request with the number #6908.

Your device seems to be faulty. Is it still under warranty? If yes, you should contact our Support Team with this issue.
If not it might help if you set a deadband for the device.
Do this is the file %APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\Global_User.xml. It is used for all devices. The range is the input range of the device, ~350.

Code: Select all

<Settings>
…
   <Deadband>150</Deadband>
</Settings>
