Looking for Tekla Structures 21.1 drivers help.

The Tekla Warehouse offers software to install configuration files for all of 3dconnexion's products but after successful installation of the corresponding file for Spacemouse Pro Wireless I still cannot use it. When I go into the Properties menu for the spacemouse I can see that it recognizes the software and I'm able to locate the configuration file but for whatever reason Tekla Structures doesn't respond to my inputs.

I've already emailed Tekla support on the matter but I was directed to the Tekla Warehouse forum which can only be accessed by members of companies with proven (paid) licenses. I'm just using the learning license which excludes me from any support network on their end.

Are there any users here that have experience with getting Tekla Structures to recognize the Spacemouse Pro? Surely they wouldn't offer configuration files for products that they do not support?

some time ago I found a document Tekla_Structures_3D_Mouse_User_Guide.pdf in the internet. Note that it is for Tekla 19 (old version). I will send it to you. Maybe you can find helpful information there and share what helped.

Did you manage to get anywhere with getting your spacemouse working with Tekla Structures?

I'm running into a similar issue with my system. I'm running the Tekla Learning program on my Windows 10 PC and can't seem to get the thing working properly. It will zoom in and out sometimes, but very jerky, and the rotate/pan functionality just isn't working at all. I downloaded the installer from the Campus forum but that didn't seem to help at all.

Hi dingu571,

Tekla 19 supports has integrated the support for the 3D mouse without making use of our SDK. This means that the 3Dconnexion driver is not needed.

See this on Tekla's website.
"Tekla Structures also supports the following 3D mice provided by 3Dconnexion: SpaceNavigator, SpaceExplorer, SpacePilot and SpacePilot Pro. A 3D mouse can be used besides a regular mouse to enhance zooming, panning and rotating. A 3D mouse does not replace the ordinary mouse but it may improve ergonomics and productivity."
There is also a link for adding support for the various versions of Tekla.

Further help can only be provided by Tekla (Trimble) directly.

Hi, the Tekla drivers works, if not installed the 3D-Connexion Software and Driver. The Tekla drivers used direct input.
Can i desactivate the 3D-Connexion Software for Tekla. So Tekla used direct input?
And the other CAD used 3D-Connexion Software.
