SpaceExplorer functionality

Post by Jonathan »

Hi

I've been using the SpaceExplorer @ work for a couple of weeks now and there is one thing that bugs me like hell.

When in sketcher mode I like to use the 2D button to disable tilt, spin and roll, it's very convenient only there is no easy way to verify whether this function is enabled or disabled. You only know when you tilt, spin or roll your model and you don't want to do that, you just want to keep on doing what you were doing. This way you end up loosing time and frankly it's just plain frustrating.

Is there no way to activate a small pop-up on your screen when in 2D mode or for example at the same time activate or disactivate the LED's on your SpaceExplorer to let you know in what mode you are? Any other suggestions are also more than welcome.

I know it's a small thing but it would mean a lot less GRRRRRAAAAAAHHHH!!

Thanks.

Hello Jonathan,

I think the 3DxWare GUI will reflect the state of the changes that button makes. If you have it up off to the side, you should see some of the check boxes tick on/off.
