Space Navigator Cinema 4D

Post by [email protected] »

Hello,
I am looking forward to learn new 3d program beside Rhino to push further my rendering business. I have now installed Cinema 4d and found out that the camera movement with the space navigator sucks. 3d mouse allows you to move only one direction at a time whereas in rhino I was able to zoom and rotate simultaneously resulting in really smooth workflow. The camera also stops and randomly jumps into other position and than comes back. Is there some improvement to this I should better learn other 3d package. I think this would annoy me all the time.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hello dmiko,

open the Settings window for the 3D mouse and go to the "Advanced Settings". Click to "Restore Defaults". See if this helps.

Otherwise you can try to cleanup all settings from the 3Dconnexion driver by following the insturctions in FAQ #1100.
