Space Mouse Wireless Stuck in 1% battery

Hi all, I have bought a space mouse wireless a while ago and haven't really used it more than testing a few times.
I started using it now and noticed it always says it has 1% battery even if I leave it charging for days.
At first I though it was not charging but If I leave it unplugged it works for a day or two (Should it last longer?).
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? I was considering replacing the battery until I realized it is working fine as it is...

I forgot to mention
I am running Windows 10 64 (tried on many machines with different build versions)
and I have updated to the last version of the 3DxWare Software
