Spacenavigator zoom/pan direction

Post by doubledown »

I have the zoom direction configured to front/back (rather than up/down). Is it possible to "swap" the zoom for the pan (left/right)? This would permit me to rotate the mouse 90 degrees so that the buttons would be located at the front and back rather than being at the sides.

If this option does not exist, then how can I request an upgrade in the capability of the driver?

I am also not sure how other users have set up their spacenavigators, but after testing many different configs, the configuration above seems to be the most intuitive and ergonomic position for the mouse.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum,

You can rearrange the motion axes as described here.
