3DxViewer does not work with XP-SP3?
It says "not installed"

Go to add remove programs
Choose 3dconnexion
Select change
Choose modify,
Make sure the 3dxviewer is selected.
finish installation.

it does not show in there.
all items ticked.
did fresh reinstall and still no 3DxViewer
what can i do?

3Dconnexion SpacePilot with Driver (3.5.6) and latest Driver (3.6.6)

I tried the method you mentioned and with the new driver it seems to have got it working!
Does this mean older versions will not work like before?

Hi Steeve_Hardings,
Support for Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP1 (all editions) was added in 3DxSoftware v. 3.6.
Using earlier versions of 3DxSoftware in XP SP3 is not a supported configuration.
