Space Navigator - Button Configuration not Saving

Post by geometrix »

All,

I am using Pro|E Wildfire 3.0. Every time I start Pro|E, I have to reconfigure the 2 buttons on my Space Navigator. In fact, sometimes even during a Pro|E session, the buttons lose their configuration.

How do I save the configuration???

Thanks

Where are you mapping the buttons from?
Select the 3DxPROENGINEER
Choose Button mapping
Make selection
this will save your settings.
Depending on what mode your in you will have to create a button mapping for each.

Welcome to the club. I tried so many different things, and it doesn't work for me on XP and on XP X64.

mandrews,

Please go to Start->Programs->3DConnexion->3Dconnexion Add-In for Inventor->Help

Under "3DxInventor Button Mapping Editor" you will see a screenshot of our Add-in for Inventor which should be used to map the buttons.

Do you see the 3DxInventor toolbar / can you enable it by right-click on the Inventor-toolbar? If not - please check if our Add-in "3DxInventor" is loaded under "Tools->Add-ins...".
