Maya and the space traveler

It shows that it has loaded the plugin but gives me and error when I try to use it.
//Error: Cannot find procedure"_3DxOnDriverFunctionsChanged".

This is with the old drivers and the newest update that I just downloaded and installed this morning. I know you are dumping support for the Space Traveler, but would appreciate it if you could let me know how to get this one to work with either Maya 8.5 or 2008, as I can't afford to run out and buy the space navigator.

Why are you using an Old driver?
the 3.6.7 download is the current driver and has the plugins for Maya 2008. and Maya 8.5.
