Photoshop CS4 64 bit on vista

Post by grindil »

Any hints on how to get the CS4 driver running on the 64 bit version of photoshop. It installs and runs fine under the 32 bit app, but copying the plug-in to the 64 bits plug in folder didn’t work. One other little bit of info that may be helpful I am running vista 64 bit thanks!.

I'd also like to know how this can be done because 3d performance in cs 4 x64 is a lot better.

Hi,

Currently, 3Dconnexion is shipping a plug-in for PS CS4 32-bit only. A 64-bit plug-in is being developed.

Hi ngomes, I also look forward to 64-bit support for CS4. Please be sure to post an announcement when this available, and reply to this post too if you would. I'll be looking for it. Thanks!

I'm also eagerly looking forward to the 64 bit plugin as well.. I don't know how long I can live without my space navigator in photoshop!

Hopefully someone will post here when it;s available as a heads up to us!

Any word yet as to a release date for this? I have recently upgraded to Vista 64 Bit and I really really need to be able to use my Space Pilot for Photoshop CS4 64bit.

It's really hard to go back to the old workflow.

OMG! it's 3 months LATER and they STILL haven;t written one since my post?

I keep seeing people ask is a SN is woirth getting, and I've had to tell people that it does NOT work with the newst fastest version of photoshop, and then they loose interest.

Wake UP, Connexion!

FINALLY! Great news! Its really hard to recommend something you really like when the drivers for it are so far behind a program's release.

Photoshop 64 was released, what? September last year?

This is good news. I am very happy to get the new driver. I had recently an rma request to 3dconnexion and just wanted to let you know that the response was awesome.

okay so I have been trying to download the trial of Adobe PS CS4 to my new laptop that has Windows Vista (upgrading from Windows XP. Somehow Adobe has a little glitch in downloading to Windows Vista systems, I have no clue why that is but I really need PS for my designs and I can really only get CS2 which I am not used to at all. If anyone can help please answer or email me.
