SET ROTATE POINT IN NX4
While in NX4, the set rotate point button in the 3DX toolbar does not work. CTRl+F2 does'nt work. Mapping the right or left button in the mapping dialog does'nt work. Tell me, Just how do I get the set rotate point option to work with this thing?

Set Rotate Point
Thanks for prompt response.
No, the button is not grayed out. I can select the button and then indicate a point on my model and it will create a point there but model does not rotate about that point.
I have checked all the variables mentioned in the KB-article referenced in your response and found that they were all correct. Any other suggestions.

My plug-in version is 2.3.4. I'm using Space Navigator P/E. (my bosses choice not mine). I have found that if I depress the set rotate button I can select a point on my model. I can then use the rotate comand with my 2d mouse and rotate about that point but I cannot use my 3d device to rotate about that point. Shouldn't I be able to rotate about a point with my 3d device?

I am not able to reproduce this issue. Whatever I do - if I click on "Set Rotate Point" and after that on the model, the model will rotate around that selected point.
I guess that there is a setting in NX that "overwrites" our rotation point (something like "always rotate around the center"). Unfortunately until now I have not found that option.
