I have a brand new space navigator and am using the latest drivers off the website (3.6.11). In every application I have tried, including the Jet Demo, the Z-Axis just barely does anything, and extra weird seems to roll clockwise better than counter-clockwise. I have tried it on multiple computers all of which have done the exact same thing with clean installs. The VB demo from the SDK page that shows values from the sensors reports an angle of around 3 when carefully tilting the device all the way along the Z-Axis. The X and Y axes both report angle values over 200. All settings in the control panel are default. Pan/Zoom and Tilt/Spin/Roll are enabled and Dominant is disabled on the App Config page. All the axes are enabled, not reversed, and have their speed centered on the advanced page.
I spent a couple days talking with support over e-mail, but after several messages repeatedly suggesting obvious things the support person eventually told me that the PE doesn't qualify for e-mail. I guess the person gave up after wasting my time.
Anyway, looking at the sensor readings closer there are some other oddities to the values reported, such as pushing the device all the way down, maxing out the Y-Vector, reads a higher counter-clockwise Z-Axis than actually tilting the device all the way left does. Some odd 'bleeding' of the values like this makes the device mostly unusable right now. I could do more tests and list more details about this 'bleeding' of values, but I'm not sure how much details about that would help.

hi Logxen,
Since you already had a word with out technical support helpline, let us give a look at that conversation. Did you use the same email address?
The support representative is correct: customers of PE devices have access to self-help and to this Forum only (see here).

Hi Logxen,
It seems, as you said, the axes of your device do not work correctly. Please contact technical support and refer to this topic. Your post indicates that the device needs to be replaced.
