Sudden Change in Speed

Post by Rasyad »

First Post here, please help,

My Space Pilot suddenly slowed to a crawl in SolidWorks 2009 SP2.1, (Windows, XP x64), after the most recent SW update. The SP works fine in demo mode (jets and chickens) and SW seems fine rotating and zooming just not with the SP. All speed settings are at max.
thanks,

I really could use some help here. My problem was escalated with customer support but they have not gotten back to me. Removing and reinstalling the driver had no effect.....

Hi Rasyad,

Please check the different axes in you Control Panel in the "Advanced Settings"-tab. If this does not help I would recommend a clean install as descibed here.

All speed settings in the advanced window are maxed. Doing so allows a part to rotate perceptably but not nearly fast enough to work. I will do a clean reinstall as you suggest.

Thanks,
