Hi, recently I have purchased a 3d Space navigator end it works fine with Google Earth, but nothing happens in sketch up 7 (I´ve checked it is compatible), or AutoCAD 2009 (in 3d mode), or in 3ds MAX 9 Architectural Desgin. Simply this aplications doesn´t recognize the controller or the driver either. There is a post in the 3d Connection forum with the same problem but in MAC enviroment, how can I do to locate and install apropiate plugins in Windows Vista Home premium 64 bit for those programs?

Space navigator doesn´t works with favorite aplications...

Make sure you donot have any applications running and install the current driver.
When you go to install it will see you had a previous version installed or the same version. You'll get prompted to repair, modify or remove.
Choose Modify.
Next you'll get prompted to isntall the different plugins.
Uncheck the items you dont want (Make sure 3dxware stays checked its the driver).
After installation open up one of the applications.
Make sure when it starts you can see the appropriate plugin.
Each application that 3DConnexion supplies a plugin will have Help files in the Application 3dconnexion folder there are instructions on how to enable and if necessary manual install instructions.

Thanks for your response! But I´ve discovered that the real problem is the information: There isn´t any reference in the user´s manual or any electronic document to pulse both buttons while the aplication starts. I found the answer presicely in one of this discussion forums (that means they works) and that was a topic non related to this. I hope this suggestion can be included in "frecuent asked cuestions" section for other users with the same problem.
