Support for Skyline TerraExplorer with SpaceNavigator?

When will SpaceNavigator 3D mouse support "TerraExplorer Viewer";

The answer is always the same: "when someone adds support for it" :). The 3D mouse is most naturually and efficiently handled internally by an application, just like the 2D mouse. In some cases a sufficiently sophisticated extern API is exported by an app that allows us, or another third party, to create an after-the-fact AddIn that will instruct the application in handling 3D mouse events.

To my knowledge neither of these processes has been investigated for this application. It's best to bring it up with the application developer first--to determine a level of interest if nothing else. If you hit a roadblock, a second approach is to try to use their API. Sometimes an API provides sufficient support, sometimes not. It varies greatly.
