Drivers wont start in Windows 7

Hi,

I have just got a new machine running Win7 64-bit. The first time I installed it the SpaceNavigator ran well but the next time I booted the machine the drivers wouldn't start and now that is the case every time I boot the machine. The issue is the same as a previous post (see viewtopic.php?t=2961) but no solution was suggested for this problem. The device is not seen in devise manager anymore. I have downloaded the 3.8.3 driver with no success and have also tried using older drivers, again with no success.

I actually had this problem on my old XP 32-bit machine but found if I had the USB plug out of the machine when I turned the power on then put it in during the booting process the driver would start fine, however this trick doesn't work for Win7.

Please help.
