Space Navigator PE not working on Windows Vista

Post by nandish »

I am trying to get my Space navigator working on a different laptop but its dosn't seem to work.

I'm using windows Vista and have downloaded the latest driver and installed it. Even the blue lights don't turn on. When I start thw driver nothing happens. but when I click on stop driver it says "driver not running" . I'm sure many have faced the same issue.

Looking forward for a response. Thanks.

Nandish.

Hi nandish,

is the device detected by the device manager? See here for further information.

Did you as well try another USB port?

Replug while holding down two buttons

Post by Bryan »

Dear nandish,

Try repluging device directly to the computer while holding both buttons on the device. Then access the Jet Demo.
(Start, All Programs, 3Dconnexion, 3Dconnexion 3Dxware, Demos)

Sincerely,
Bryan

That sentence deserves a sticky! Although, trying to push two buttons and replugging the USB is a pain when you've got all of your cables running inside of your desk. ^^

Thank you!
