Space Navigator - Error 1602

Post by blee95 »

Hello,

I am running Vista x64. I have used the Space Navigator for several years now with no problems. I just tried to upgrade to 3.8.3 driver since my SN was having some issues and during driver install I get Error 1326 followed by Error 1602.

I have followed the uninstall instructions completely and reinstalled from scratch and still get these errors. If I let the install run the software installs all the plugin etc... but does not install the x64 3Dconnexion software due to the above errors.

How do I fix this??

Thanks,
Brett

Error 1326 is a Error you get from installing from a network location.
Error 1602 is a User cancelled the installation.

It appears at one time you may have ran the installation from the network Since the Website gets updated the file and paths have since changed causing the error.

There must be a corrupted registry key in the system still causing the problem with not allowing the Vist 64 portion of the driver to install.
Ill have to confer with one of the programmers to see if they have a solution to this.

Can you follow the steps from this link
http://www.3dconnexion.eu/support/kb/?V ... EntryID=12
We need the Logfile that gets created.
Before doing the steps uninstall the current driver.
