Hi.
I instaled Spacenavigator in my carPC on XP platform and I am about to throw it away, such a piece of junk, refereeing to software driver support of course.
Done numerous installs now, gone from not beeing detected at all, no blue lights, to blue screen when pluged into Pc atc.
Now made another clean install with original 3d media installed, like written here, held both buttond when pluged it in and magic worked, blue light is there. When I make tests, it works. Both left and right buttond works and can be assigned..BUT NO OTHER BUTTONS!!!
There is no option for assigning buttons, just those two!
Crappy shit!
When I click spacenavigator icon, it either says it is running, but I cannot find it anywhere in tray or It causes malfunction and crashes.
Can anyone help before I throw this peace of junk away?!?
Thank you.

Dear chrom15,
The SpaceNavigator only has two buttons, what other buttons are you trying to map?
What application are you attempting to use the SpaceNavigator with?
Is it one of the applications that we know make use of our Device that you find listed on our site?
What icon are you clicking on?
What's the path to it?
What Windows Service Pack are you using?
What release version of 3DxSoftware do you have installed?
(3Dconnexion Control Panel, Help, About)
Does it work in the Jet Demo?
(Start, All Programs, 3Dconnexion, 3Dconnexion 3DxWare, Demos)
Do you have your SpaceNavigator plugged directly into your computer?
Sincerely,
Bryan

hi Bryan, thanx for reply.
I am not in my car atm, writing from a top of my head.
I am trying to map actions like scroll left, right, up , down etc, but there is no option at all, I only have those 2 buttons to map.
Trying to use it with Cantrafuse.
Jetdemo works.
I only need control panel to give me option to assign actions to turn left/right, when I push up/down etc. Those possibilities are in help topic of Panel, but when I open mine, there are none but the two mentioned...
Will write more when I am in my car if this is not enough.

Centrafuse Auto
Dear chrom15,
Our device does not have the behavior of a Windows Mouse. It has no clickers and does not control a cursor. It was developed for 3D CAD to manipulate 3D models in 3D space. It provides input of translation along three axis and rotations around three axis. The paradyme for its use would be to manipulate the 3D model with one hand and continue to use a regular Windows Mouse to draw with and select commands.
I do not find Centrafuse Auto listed as an application that we know of that makes use of our input devices.
You may want to check with your Centrafuse Support.
Sincerely,
Bryan

Dear chrom15,
I'm afraid that I personally don't know of any applications that make use of our devices and also interfaces with a car audio system. Perhaps there are other forum participants who might know of such an application.
Sincerely,
Bryan g.
