Wildfire 2.0 support

Post by neuronex »

I recently updated my 3dconnexion drivers, which has resulted in the removal of the pro/e WF2 3dconnexion menu. The device still works perfectly, and I can set up the device via the system tray control panel, but I'd like the 3dconnexion menu back in my pro/e Wf2 for easy selection of mapkeys.

The latest installed 3dConnexion directory only has .dat & .dll support folders for Pro/e WF3 and up. Is there any way support / files for WF2 can be made available, like it was previously; or alternatively - where could I get previous versions of the necessary drivers?

Setup:
  • SpaceExplorer USB
  • Windows XP 32bit SP3
  • 3d Connexion Driver Release: 3.11.2; Driver version 6.11.0; Firmware version: 4.04
  • Pro/Engineer Wf2, date code M260

Hi neuronex,

For WF2 menu support (3Dconnexion plug-in for Pro/ENGINEER), you will have to downgrade your 3DxSoftware installation to version 3.8 or older.

You will find the archived versions on the same download page as more recent software. Make sure you tick the "also show archived software" check box.
