Hi. I want to buy another spacemouse but i can't choose between the wireless and the wireless pro. I have some questions:
1) i saw on some review that when you rotate the 6 dof hub also the base starts to rotate (wireless)
2) i read that if the reciver is not near the spacemouse it will not work good.
Can someone that have these 2 models answer to this two doubts i have? Thanks!

You are probably hoping for a response from customers...maybe someone will chime in.
The main difference between the SpaceMouse Wireless vs Pro is the number of buttons.
The SMW has two. That's quite limiting.
It also has a smaller base. This can cause it to rotate if there isn't enough friction between the rubber pad on the bottom and your desk (dusty). You should not need to torque it so hard to move your part at the speed you want. You can adjust the gain, using our GUI, so you don't feel the need to torque it so hard. Applying too much force/torque all day would be very fatiguing. It is meant to be used with your fingertips.
Sometimes, wireless transmission has radio interference in very noisy (radio) offices. It's rare.
All wireless devices can be run with a USB cable.
The cap, size, range and resolution, is [currently] the same on all our devices.
