Hello,
I have a SpaceMouse Enterprise that I am using on Windows 10 computer for NX/Teamcenter software. The SpaceMouse turns off when shutting the screen of the laptop, which sleeps the computer. Upon opening the laptop and resuming, the screen on the SpaceMouse goes to the blue startup screen and stays there frozen/stuck. It does not bootup and sometimes unplugging it and plugging it back in works but today I've tried many times and I cannot get past the startup screen. Is this a faulty SpaceMouse? Is it a driver issue? This is a brand new laptop that its connected to, but before it was hooked up to a desktop and it would occasionally happen on there. When it works, it works great but the freezing startup is very bad today and was wondering if there is a solution to fix it? I did not know if there was buttons I could hold down to reset the SpaceMouse hardware without unplugging it.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dustin

Re: SpaceMouse Enterprise stuck/frozen on bootup screen
Hello,
How is the Enterprise plugged into your machine?
IS it a hub or a directly into your machine?
If via Hub,, does the hub have its own power source?
i would recommend different USB ports on your machine first, just incase the one you are used to is getting faulty or dirty.
if that does work you can try a hard reset which i will include below.
1. Hold down the “Menu and “Fit” Buttons at the same time until the LED blinks.
2. While holding the buttons down, unplug your SpaceMouse Enterprise.
3. Go to the start menu and do a search of “Stop 3DxWare”
4. Click it and stop the driver.
5. Plug the SpaceMouse Enterprise back into your computer while still holding down the “Menu” and “Fit” buttons.
6. Got to the start menu and do a search for “Start 3DxWare”
7. Hold the “menu” and “fit” buttons down for a 10 seconds more then release.
8. Test.
If that still does not work, then i would contact the support team: https://3dconnexion.com/us/support-request/login/

Re: SpaceMouse Enterprise stuck/frozen on bootup screen
Thank you, your method for hard reset worked.
The SpaceMouse is plugged directly into the laptop, not a USB hub. I tried a different USB port and nothing changed so I tried the hard reset and that fixed it. For how long, only time will tell. If it reoccurs as frequent as it has, I will contact support.
Thank you,
Dustin
