Cadmouse pro wireless buttons stopped working on windows 11

Post by nicolodmt »

Hello you all.

I've been using 3dconnexion cadmouse pro wireless for a year and i like it.
Lately i've got a problem that i can't understand: central button, lateral buttons or radial menu buttons stopped working.
I'm on autocad, everything works fine, but suddenly the above mentioned buttons don't work anymore, on every single program, even windows itself.
Even if I reset the windows app i can make it work.
The only way to make it work is unistalling the program and reinstalling it.
Can someone help me?

i want to specify that i have been experience this problem on other computers, so i don't think its depending on the hardware i have

Are you using the latest version of 3DxWare 10?

Currently, version 10.8.20 is available for download here.

What is "the program" that you need to reinstall to restore the use of the CadMouse buttons? Is it 3DxWare 10?

I have the same problem.

At some point, you lose the ability to select commands for a specific program (in this example, Revit 2022, but this happens with all applications).
You have to copy the configuration files from \AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\, then reinstall 3DxWare, then copy the configuration files back. It isn't the best way and it doesn't solve the problem at all.
