Exception in driver

Post by h.latzko »

Hello,

we've got plenty of SpaceNavigator USB devices working in CatiaV5R19 via 3DxWare(64) 6.14.0000. One user complains about an exception in the driver (see screenshot). With another device, the error doesn't occur. Is this one device faulty? I've got a diagnostic dump file ("3DxWare.dmp") which seems to contain binary data (and is not human-interpretable by me). Can I send this file to someone for interpretation?

Regards,

Harald

Before you send the dmp file, please delete your saved CATIA scg file. It may be corrupt. To find out what file it is, start CATIA, then hover the 2d mouse cursor over the 3Dx icon in the systray. The icon will display the name of the file. It will be something like user03.scg. Delete that file from %appdata%\3dconnexion\3dxware\profiles.
