CadMouse buttons not working

I have a new CadMouse Wireless that is paired to a 3DConnexion universal receiver. I have this plugged into a monitor that has KVM functionality, so I can switch the keyboard and mouse between a PC and a Mac. The PC doesn't have internal BT.

The universal receiver happily flicks between the Mac and PC just fine, and the CadMouse and Spacemouse work, but I can't click anything on the Mac.

I've had the universal receiver for a while, it came with the SpaceMouse back in 2020. The CadMouse is only a couple of weeks old.

Am I missing something here?

Should add this is a CadMouse Pro.

Unfortunately we don't support CM (cadmouse) if it's connected with macOS machine by the UR (cursor movement works, but not the clicks).
So probably this is the reason why you CM doesn't work after switching to macOS machine.

That is a bit disappointing.
I guess it will work properly if via a BT dongle, that I can flip between Mac and PC?

Look like BT dongles and Mac's are not a good thing.
So it looks like the CadMouse Pro wireless will be stuck on the PC only given the lack of UR support for Macs.

You can always connect your CadMouse Pro to mac by BT and to PC by the dongle.
When you will switch between machines just change the swtich from dongle to BT on your mouse.
BT and dongle connection are two separate things.

Interesting idea. Bit of a faff and no doubt I’ll wonder why the mouse doesn’t work from time to time as I forget to press the little button.

I was aiming for reducing flipping to a single keyboard key, guess that is out the window now.
