Hi. I'm running ZBrush 2024.0.3 and I noticed that my 3Dconnexion Enterprise works slightly differently than it did in the previous Pixologic version.
In the previous version, when I moved or rotated the model on the canvas, ZBrush would switch from a high-detail mesh to a low-res one. This helped to smoothly navigate heavy models. In the latest Maxon ZBrush 2024.0.3, it's the opposite: the model doesn't switch to low-res, making it complicated to navigate very detailed models.
Is there any option in the 3Dconnexion tool to have the same functionality as in the Pixologic version?

I noticed that 3DConnexion missed QTransThreshold1 which is available on Preferences/Performance/QTransThreshold1. Does anyone have similar problems on newest version of ZBrush and 3DConnexion drivers?

Yeah this has been brought up more than 2 months ago and the dev team has yet to address it in the patches since. I'm about to give up on the hardware and resell it. Doesnt seem to have any support for the VFX industry.

Is there any option to use old drivers/software for 3dconnexion and have same functionality as in Pixologic ZBrush version?

Today, I tried to install the previous driver version 10.8.3, which was released on 2021/10/21, but I noticed the same issue with navigation. The parameter I mentioned before is still missing in lastest Maxon ZBrush version. It seems like there are some differences between the Pixologic and Maxon versions of ZBrush.

Hello 3DConnexion,
Working with models above 70 million polygons using the Space Mouse is impossible. We really need this fix, as without it, the Space Mouse is useless in ZBrush when working on very detailed models. Please help us.

I'm still waiting for any information on when this fix will be ready. Could you provide us with any updates on when you plan to release it?

I don't see any improvements in this area. My 3DConnexion device still has issues with the QTrans parameter. When I orbit the camera without using 3DConnexion, the model interaction is very smooth. However, when I use 3DConnexion, it's the opposite. The model doesn't reduce its resolution during interaction, so navigating with heavy models is sluggish and jagged. How about other users? Could anyone check if this issue persists with the new driver v10.9.1?
