Compact Wireless Mouse charge port overheated and melted

Hello

I recently left my CadMouse Compact Wireless Mouse to charge overnight and the following morning I went to remove the usb-c cable from the mouse and it was hot to point of melting the charge port on the mouse. Now the mouse does not work nor am interested in plugging it again. This is very dangerous as it could have caught fire.

Has anyone had this problem with compact mouse?
