No rotation in Blender

I received my Spacemouse Compact today and installed it. The trainer worked fine. However, in Blender I can pan and zoom, but twisting the knob doesn't rotate or orbit. I'm using the settings from 3DConnexion's Blender support page, and they also match the settings of YouTube videos I've looked up.

I'm not sure how to proceed.

Please tell me which version of Beldner and which version of 3DxWare software are you using?

Blender 3.6.2.
I can't find the 3DX version but it was downloaded and installed yesterday, so it's the latest.

I have more info. When I use the numpad to set a viewpoint in Blender, the Spacemouse can't rotate or orbit. However, when I use the middle mouse button to "break free" and rotate away from the fixed view, then the Spacemouse can take over and it works.

I would recommend using newer version of Blender like 4.1 or 4.2.
Also I can advise to check your settings in blender for navigation here is small tutorial how you can find them.
