Space Mouse Rebound
When I move the space mouse wireless, it will automatically stop. When I release the space mouse, it automatically moves in the opposite direction about the same amount. The rebounding happens while both connected via the wireless receiver and while plugged directly into the computer. I wonder if this happens with any other space mouse too. It seems like it was programmed to do this. I think it happens mostly when moving along one axis at a constant speed. Any idea what is making it do this and how to fix it?
Re: Space Mouse Rebound
Got my SpaceMouse Wireless yesterday.
I have almost the exact same issue.
Doesn't matter the program or game (AutoCAD, Star Citizen etc).
Slight differences are:
The opposite direction movement is only about 10% of the original movement. The opposite movement is time(?) based.
Example:
I push(input) forward and MAINTAIN the position. After a very short time (~5 seconds), the output of that movement starts decreasing until it goes to zero output. If I release the spacemouse(input goes to zero), the output in the opposite direction starts, and moves that ~10% previously mentioned.
If instead of MAINTAINING the input, I increase it to try to fight the decrease in output, I very soon run out of physical travel, and reach a position of maximum input with zero output. As soon as I let go, it "unloads" that ~10% output in the opposite direction of the original input again.
Happens in every axis.
However, this afternon, I did manage to use it normally (tested for about 5 minutes) in a CAD program.

Re: Space Mouse Rebound
So apparently it's an autocalibration issue?
