I want to make the Space mouse control hue/saturation/value per pan axis. what might be a good direction to go and learn to accomplish this for Krita? I will check Krita forums too, but i thought this would be a good starting spot.
I did find a plugin that allows hotkeys for color changes, but I don't know of a way to remap the movement to hotkey presses yet. Thanks in advance!!

Re: Krita: Color selection via Spacemouse navigation
Krita does not natively allow shortcuts for color, so I had to install this first: https://krita-artists.org/t/pigment-o-plugin/4531
I then set up shortcuts to use F keys that are unavailable on the keyboard, to not interrupt existing shortcuts.
Then I set up the XML file to use f keys based on the WSAD.xml template. rotation controls all aspects of the color selection experience. tilting front to back changes value, left to right changes saturation, and rotating clockwise and counter clockwise changes hue.
i have attached the XML for the space mouse. I cannot attach screenshots, they are too large for this platform.
