Is there a rotational offset?

Post by Work_Smoothie »

I use this space mouse to the left of my keyboard, so I have the puck rotated about 45 degrees - ya know to ergonomically fit my wrist. This makes both buttons completely inaccessible.

Is there a way to set a rotational offset the "front" of the device? This way the "front" actually 45 degrees to the right, so that when I'm using it with my left hand (and the puck physically rotated 45 degrees to the left), my thumb and middle finger will be right over the buttons.

Other than that, I'm thinking about ripping out the buttons and 3D printing new ones that wrap around the mouse. But hmmm....how will I design with it apart? :D

There's currently no way to set the rotation angle for the "front" of the device, but you could try remapping the axis or 3D printing new buttons to match your hand position – very creative idea!

It sounds like a creative challenge! Unfortunately, most software for space mice doesn’t support rotational offsets. Consider using custom keybindings or remapping software as a workaround. Good luck with your design!

Solved. These extensions work remarkably well
