A customer of our software (Secret Ear Designer) reports that his custom configuration is lost every time he restarts his machine.
After a bit of investigation, we figured out that the configuration file seems to be moved (and renamed) from:
%APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\SEDesigner.xml
to:
%APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\bak\SEDesigner.bak
Any idea on how this could be debugged and fixed? Thanks in advance.
The moved custom configuration file is attached below.

Re: Custom configuration lost after every restart
Is the customer editing the cfg file by himself, or using our GUI to make his changes.
The file is invalid.
It could be that he is copying files from an old version of the driver to a newer version. There have been some recent changes to this file.
I've attached a fixed version of the file that should work with the current driver.

Re: Custom configuration lost after every restart
The customer seems to be only using the tools of 3Dconnexion to configure the settings. Furthermore, he told us that the configuration issues started after a Windows update. Not sure how relevant this is, though.
Thank you for the (very) quick help. Appreciate it!
