My space navigator doesn’t start up when I am starting my PC
(Windows 7, 64 bitt). I had this problem before, but installing new drivers and restarting the PC always worked. Now it doesn’t work!
Navigator is not recognised in the device map.
Yesterday I had no problems, the navigator worked.
What can I do?

You can restart the Space Navigator this way:
Unplug the Space Navigator. Hold down button #1 and button #2 on the Space Navigator.
While holding down the buttons, plug in the Space Navigator.
Wait about 15 seconds then release the 2 buttons and
start the driver. [Start, All Programs, 3Dconnexion, Driver, Start Driver]
The 3Dconnexion icon will appear in the SystemTray at the bottom right of your screen when the driver starts. When Windows recognizes the device there is a message for the HID driver 'Windows is installing the software for your new hardware'.
If the driver does not start, move to a different USB port on the PC and repeat the steps. Full USB power needs to be available for Windows to recognize the device.
Since the driver is usually started at Windows startup, when you switch USB ports or start the Space Navigator after Windows has started, you will need to start the driver manually with the 'Start Driver' shortcut.
