I'm having a strange problem. I got my spacemouse wireless, installed drivers, charged it, tried it in stuff like google earth and solidworks and it works fine.
I open up Rhino 5.0, the thing I actually bought this for, and the troubles start. For some reason I can click on neither the advanced settings nor the button icons. The slider tab on the speed bar is also entirely gone. The mouse registers movement in the program, but it is very jumpy and impossible to use. The property does detect the name of the program correctly, but for some reason I cant change any of the settings at all.
I have the latest official drivers:
10.0.19
17.0.29
Spacemouse Wireless Firmware v 4.37

Another thing I noticed is that my actual mouse navigation becomes extremely sensitive as well. Once i turn off the spacemouse, it immediately goes back to normal.

Sorry for all these posts, I cant seem to find an edit button.
Ok, I figured out the problem with the speed. I had to set the speed in Rhino itself, not through the property manager. I was also able to find the button settings inside the rhino program. The only thing I want to do is enable dominant mode because I'm finding myself floating off into space. I can't seem to access that anywhere inside the program or through the 3dconnexion property manager.

Re: SpaceMouse Wireless does not work with Rhino 5
I solved it... sorta. I thought it was a software problem with Rhino 5, so I had my friend try it with Rhino 4. Unlike me, he used the disc instead of downloading the latest drivers. The disc drivers were older but provided all the customization I desired, including the ability to set dominant mode. Needless to say, I uninstalled my "latest" drivers and installed the old ones. I think 3dconnexion made a mistake with trying to simplify the properties excessively. It also gave me the ability to reverse all axis, which made it much more intuitive.

Same issue, older drivers worked fine. I kind of tricked it though, I opened up the "Advanced" + "Buttons" windows while in other application, and switched back to Rhino to set up the controls. Not a huge issue, but yeah... kind of annoying because you don't get Radial menus and popup numpad with older drivers.
