Problem with focus in Maya

Hi everyone. I've just had bought a simple Space Navigator. Installed software following the steps in brochure. Selected only the plugin for Maya and some trainers. Launched Maya and gets following. When i press "F" to focus on something, my camera jumps two times. First in some random space and then to the object, which i wanted to be focused. It's really annoying. But maybe i can live with that. But! But! The main problem is. I have a script which allows me to switch between persp view and any orthographic view in one click. Like in Zbrush. It's very magnificent script. I'll never said goodbye to him.
He is a deal. When i click the button "`" which switch between these views my camera shifts, displacing somewhere. And every time i must move it in the correct place, in which she must be by default.

thank you for your report. The jump when you press F is probably due to an issue in Maya. Our development still has to investigate this. Our internal bug number for this issue is #6600.

Would it be possible that you share the script that you use to switch between perspective view and orthographic view? If you want you could send it to me per PM?
