My SpacePilot Pro is going crazy. It looks as the software controlling the device enters into a loop. The LCD screen start cycling through several commands and applications are launched in sequence. I had to unplug the USB plug because I was not able to use the computer because of all the applications starting in sequence. The applications were still launched even after I unplugged the device and I had to stop the driver. I use Windows 7 64-bit and 3DxSoftware64SPP_v3-17-8_r1730. The device is approximately 3-4 years old.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem?

Which application do you use with the 3D mouse?

Hi UtaSH, thank you for your reply.
Your suggestion seemed to have fixed the problem. I have also tried to press every single button to see if the problem occurred again but it seems to be ok now. Thanks a lot!
I use the device with Blender.

I spoke too early. After about 1/2 hour the device started displaying the same problem. I wasn't even using it, the event sequence started while I was using another computer.
Any idea?

If the erroneous movement happens regularly your 3D mouse might be faulty.
I recommend to contact our Technical Support. They can assist and check if the device is still under warranty. They will as well assist you in getting a replacement if the warranty is still valid.
