Problem with the Space Pilot PRO

Post by keeganleach »

I am using the SPP (Space Pilot Pro) with Solidworks and every time I zoom into a specific area I get this wall of some sort that pushes me somewhere else other then where I want to go. What is actually going on?

Hello keeganleach,

in the popup menu from the 3D mouse (MENU button) in SolidWorks there is an option 'Rotation Center'. Check if it set to 'Auto' or not and if it solves the issue if you change that. Let me know your findings.

Hello keeganleach,

Another option that affects navigation in SolidWorks is 'Keep in View' [SolidWorks main menu |3Dcontrol|Properties|Options]. This option is intended to keep the view onscreen - turn it off for unlimited navigation.
