I have SpaceNavigator since yesterady. First day linux only, spacenav works fine, I used blender on Fedora 20 - all works OK. Today I wanted to use SpaceNavigator on Windows 7 (AutoCAd + Navisworks). All was working fine for about 3 hours then windows exploded with the blue screen of death. It has never happened before on that PC. Reboot. SpaceNavigator works fine, all as it should be.. No, wait a sec, I can't open "Properties"!!!

I'm now after a driver repair, reinstall and 2 clean reinstalls including manual removal of system files and register editing, but _nothing_ helps. I cannot access properties, so the SpaceNavigator is half useless now as I like axes rotated and much lower speed than default.
Every time I try to open properties (button, 3D mouse home, task bar) I got the same message:
3DxSmartUI:
Exception: Configuration system failed to initialize.
Is there any way to diagonse what's wrong and fix it? I switched on "Write Log File", but I don't know where is is being written.

Re: SpaceNavigator - Exception: Configuration system failed.
I did one more clean re-install, but this time I added some points that are not in the FAQ:
1. On 64-bit windows 3Dconnexion directory is in Program Files, but also in Program Files (x86)
2. There are 3Dconnexion directories in a few more places - good cygwin search helped for find and remove them
3. I didn't disconnect the SpaceNavigator or network cable
One of above has helped and I have access to the properities again.
