Re: 3D Connexion Settings Not Working

You can try that. I noticed on the driver download page, it says to "Browse the software list below to find out if your application supports 3Dconnexion devices." https://3dconnexion.com/uk/software/ I went to Navisworks and it says it's been tested on Navisworks version 21.1. https://3dc...

Re: 3D Connexion Settings Not Working

Rebooting after moving the files didn't work.

Any other tips?

Re: 3D Connexion Settings Not Working

Thanks for replying! I tried that (cut/paste xml files and moved to desktop). I then opened the settings dialogue while in Navisworks, and it still didn't display the app name (still read "explorer"). Plus the spacemouse became unresponsive. I moved the xml files back to the original folde...

3D Connexion Settings Not Working

I noticed this problem when I got a project in Navisworks 2024 and the spacemouse moved up/down and forwards/backwards too fast. One little touch and I was way off in outer space. Opened my 3DConnexion Settings. Right away I noticed it didn't name Navisworks as the application. Normally if I'm in Na...

Re: 3dxpiemenus Uhandled Exception

I went and took that file and moved it to my desktop in case I want to put it back.

Rebooted and the error message doesn't pop up anymore.

I don't know what that file is for. Is it ok to delete it?

Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid

If you are getting only doing one direction at a time, there is an option in the GUI under Advanced Settings to enable/disable that. The "Dominant" CheckBox. If it is on, turn it off. Thanks for replying. I checked and it didn't affect anything. fyi, I am able to travel in an arc but only...

Re: Spacemouse Stops Working in Revit after Inactivity

I have similar issues. Mouse arbitrarily works in Revit whenever it wants. Usually the moment I need it to pan through a ceiling plan, it's not working. Too much graphics on the screen? Won't work/really laggy. Most of the time the mouse doesn't work in Revit but many years ago it was consistently r...

Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid

Yes forgot to mention that was one of the first things I tried. I know what you're talking about but it doesn't resolve anything right now. When I assemble a navis model via shared coordinates, everything is smooth, everything is good. However, client wanted internal coordinates so his foremen can t...

Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid

I went to site a couple weeks ago, everything working, Navis and Revit cruising along fine. Foremen are amazed at my agility in the model. Get home, and suddenly it's lost its rhythm. Movements are jerky especially when I'm moving in two or more directions (e.g. simultaneously walking forward and de...
