A more user friendly search

I am having a problem with the search utility (it may be a set up on my machine). When I perform a search and get several hits, I go to one and often don't get the answer I need. When I hit the back button, the page has expired so I do another search, go to another page, do another search, go to ano...

There are two situations I am aware of on my system (AutoCAD 2008 / CADWorx Plant 2008 / XP). If I am in a command (most times) and try to change view with SN I get a fatal error and a "normal" AutoCAD shutdown with recovery. Yesterday, just before my post, I simply touched my SN an AutoCA...

Thank you for your reply. I think I will keep my SN around for a while longer until things stabilize, if they do, before deploying it to my departments.

Your impression of the RBC9 driver matches what I was thinking. The last thing I need is another devise that needs a lot of work to support.

Space Navigator unstable in AutoCAD 2008

I just purchased and installed SN on my maching at work. I am testing it to see if I want to roll it out to about 50 machines. I am finding it to be quite unstable. I have had several lock-ups and just had a complete crash where AutoCAD just disapeared without warning. Have others had this problem? ...

The tilt, spin, roll functions are why I like this product. Without them it's just another mouse. I was wondering why I need a regen when I do tilt, spin, or roll. 3DORBIT does not seem to do this and I have large files.

AutoCAD 2008 Regen issue

We create fairly large design files in AutoCAD 2008. Is there a way to disable the automatic regen while using Space Navigator? I find the use so choppy. If I touch the device I get a regen, if I start and then stop, I get a regen. I am very new to this, and would like to deploy them to my departmen...

When I switched to 3D wireframe mode everything works. I can do 3DORBIT in 2D wireframe with the mouse, but not with space navigator. We work (as a standard) in 2D wireframe.

I have just installed the program with the latest drivers. This is my first install and I can not tilt roll or spin. all the settings seem to indicate that I should be able to. I am running AutoCAD 2008
