Re: Help: New SMPro Not working with Zbrush
One thing haven't figured out is how to use the top buttons ( 1-4 ) while simultaneously pressing and using the stylus or mouse. The Pop Up radial menu gets in the way and the function doesn't seem to work. You want to press-and-hold one of the "programmable" buttons (those labelled "1" to "4"). By...

Re: Help: New SMPro Not working with Zbrush
Hi, I will configure all these buttons manually if needed, but I'm wondering if I missed something during the installation. I don't think you missed anything. We do not yet have a default configuration for ZBrush on macOS but it is likely that we will be adding one. Client applications do not requi...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
your team still CAN'T come up with an update for the Wireless Cad mouse to work with Big Sur. All wireless CadMouse types work on macOS 11 in one way or another. Even the very first CadMouse (launched in 2015), a wired product, is supported on macOS 11. The original CadMouse (wired) and the CadMous...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
I wonder if that would be an easy way around for single modifier actions It's not. The underlying issue is the system API we're currently using where modifier keys are only "masks" (effectively attributes) of other key events. So, "Cmd+A" works but stand-alone "Cmd" does not because there's no even...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
This has solved the issue! That confirms what we suspected: you were affecting by the known limitation in modifier key emulation in our driver for macOS 11. As mentioned, we're working to resolve this. Out of curiosity, can you rename the items in the radial menu? for example renaming "keystroke r"...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
Could it be an issue with Sketchup itself? It is not an issue with SketchUp. I think you may be seeing a limitation that we currently have with key emulation (modifier keys don't work as standalone keys). We're working to restore the key emulation to the same experience as in macOS 10.15 and older....

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
The button mapping feature is expected to work everywhere. Even in Finder. You just need to map a button in the corresponding driver configuration (or create a new configuration).

Re: Rhino.Inside Revit
Although, the 3d mouse works fine when booting up Revit, as soon as Rhino.Inside is launched, it stops functioning. In Rhino.Inside.Revit, the movement speed seems to be fixed now. Though the 3dmouse completely freezes as soon as Rhino.Inside is started. I'm not sure I follow. You're saying Revit s...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
tried toggling bluetooth on and off and rebooted. no change. Thanks for checking this for us. We have tried to reproduce the problem on our end using a wireless CadMouse, SketchUp, "beta 15" driver and macOS 11.2.3 (20D91) on an M1 machine but all checks out fine: undo and redo work as expected whe...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
let me know if im doing something wrong It seems that you're doing everything right. Since you're using your CadMouse over Bluetooth, do you recall having rebooted your system after you paired the device? If you have not rebooted, disable Bluetooth on the system (there should be a Bluetooth icon on...

Re: Solidworks as administrator
when I run solidworks (2017 to 2020) as administrator We have seen this before but we don't know why customers run SOLIDWORKS as administrator (elevated). Running any application elevated carries a security risk and should be done only in very specific cases (like changing passwords or accessing a ...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
-Mouse won't work with receiver, only bluetooth. (I haven't had any issues with bluetooth) This is expected, yes. CadMouse device types aren't supported over a receiver dongle on macOS 11. -I cant remap any buttons to Sketchup tools, radial menu not working either. only seems to work in Sketchup wi...

SPE is completely non-functional for me with Maya 2022. We will include a plug-in for Maya 2022 in the next driver update. In the meantime, I suggest getting in touch with 3Dconnexion's Technical Support team (contact details here ) as they may have a pre-release build to share with you. I submitte...
