Well, it seems I have resolved my issue.

I uninstalled the driver, cleared the registry and rebooted.
Re installed that latest/greatest driver and all seems to be working so far.

I am getting this same error message (Cannot load transport DLL mwmtrans.dll).... I have updated to the newest driver (3DxSoftware64_v3-16-1_r1342.exe) that I downloaded from the 3DConnexion web site. I have uninstalled and re-installed the driver... I am at a loss... My system is .... Windows 7-64b...

It seems that was my problem all along... SolidWorks had been set to run as administrator and the 3DxWare driver was set to run normally. So SW did not recognize or run it. After setting both applications back to run normally, everything appears to be functioning as it should be. Thank You very much...

Ahhh ... I see.

That has probably been my problem from the start.
I will get through the day and change them over and respond back.

All that has been considered and looked at... Right now I have fully uninstalled the drivers... Going to clean the registry out and reinstall from CD that came with package...
