With my 3DConnexion keyboard, I am unable to get into the PC bios by pressing DEL while the machine boots.
This works fine with every other keyboard I've tried.
Is there a fix for this? I really don't want to keep a second keyboard around to plug in just for this.

Re: Getting into Bios
Do you do motherboard BIOS configuration based on a regular/daily basis? That's crazy.
Re: Getting into Bios
That's unexpected.
What is the firmware version of your keyboard device? You will find this information in the "About" panel in the "3Dconnexion Settings" tool.

Well, right now I am dialing in a new system, so yes I'm going to be in the bios a fair bit for the near future.
Also, if I need to get to the BIOS, I need it fast, this is my main workstation.

Re: Getting into Bios
This is the latest firmware used in production. I'm told the "Del" key should work to enter the BIOS but it clearly does not in your case. We'd like to see if we can reproduce this.
Could you please share your system details, including the BIOS version and vendor (manufacturer)?
Re: Getting into Bios
It's not quite solved yet, but I found that some USB ports weren't getting power during the boot time.

Re: Getting into Bios
That could very well be it, then. If the USB port isn't powered, the keyboard is effectively disabled.
We have seen this happening with external USB hubs. Our recommendation is to connect the main keyboard directly to a USB port on the computer.
