I don't know exact number, less than 50. The manufacturing is outsourced.

No, it's not owned by Logitech after year 2011, 3Dconnexion is again an independent small company.

I started using cinema without 3dconnexion mouse after 10 years of use, it is so annoying that they don't care, every version some problems, so ********** of 3dconnexion.

Moderator edit (Oct 3, 2023): removed foul language (see BOARD RULES under "Be respectful").

3Dconnexion always says they are "working closely with Maxon" but obviously not close enough to have drivers updated and ready for shipment when a new version of Cinema 4D arrives... Just remember Apple's move from Intel to ARM - if I remember correctly, it took over a year for 3Dconnexion to get a working driver for their hw

Even better, it'd be great if they could work with Maxon to design a generic solid API for Cinema 4D so we don't have to go through this disaster every time there's an update. The 3D mouse is such a brilliant piece of kit, but I need it to work; otherwise, it's just an expensive paperweight.

You can stick to a specific version, say Maxon C4D 2024, to stay productive without compromising any of your current workflow. Does Maxon force you to upgrade your Cinema 4D version in production environment to stay in subscription plan? To develop a hardware driver for Apple's OS is no easy task, given the fact that Apple doesn't care much about backward compatibility.

I want to use 2025, I get access to that through my Maxon One Subscription.
Yes I will still use 2024 and sometimes 2023 to maintain compatibility with some files
but regardless I want to use 2025 and I need to use my 3D Mouse so I need it to support 2025

thanks for the new update. ( 3DxWare64_v10-9-1_b650)
now my CAD mouse and Space mouse all work perfectly well with Cinema 4D 2025.

Oh I see, so it all starts with 'I want to...' rather than my superior/customer wants me to upgrade the software...

Sounds reasonable, but upgrade breaks hardware driver's compatibility with the productivity tool, doesn't it leads to reduced productivity/slowed workflow/reduced output? Now v10.9.1 is out, C43 2025 is supported.
