I tried using the 3d mouse in Lychee Slicer (listed as supported on the 3dconnexion website, btw), but it didn't work. However, I noticed that when I kill the process "3DconnexionHelper", the mouse starts to work in Lychee (doesn't work in other apps, but I can restart the process by simply opening the settings panel in System Settings and everythign is back to normal). HOWEVER once I kill the process, macOS start recognizing the 3d mouse inputs and standard mouse inputs, so the mouse cursor starts to move when I use the 3d mouse.
My question is: how do I make it not move the mouse cursor when the 3DconnexionHelper is not running?

Hi b005t3r,
Unfortunately, right now we support Lychee Slicer only on Windows not on mac.

Re: Lychee Slicer issues
Interesting workaround. It sounds like when 3DconnexionHelper is running, it captures and translates the SpaceMouse input for supported applications, but when you terminate it, macOS falls back to treating the device as a generic HID input device. That's likely why Lychee starts receiving input while the system cursor also begins moving.
Re: Lychee Slicer issues
This is the expected behaviour of the 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse and the 3DxWare driver "3DconnexionHelper" component software on macOS. This is discussed frequently in other threads: https://forum.3dconnexion.com/viewtopic ... se#p121593garryhopkins wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2026 9:15 pm Interesting workaround.
