cycle Button Assignment (3dsmax)

Post by Phil999 »

the command is there, but how do you use it? Can you create several mappings, and cycle through them with this command?

Dear Phil999,

You've started a new thread, it's hard to know what you are referencing.
What command are you talking about? Can you give us some context to your questions? Thanks.

Sincerely,
Bryan

Hi Phil999,
In 3dsmax, in the Button Assignment, is a command called 'Cycle Button Assignment'. I want to know what this command is for, how to use it.
If you have a SpacePilot, this function is normally assigned to the "Config" button. It allows you to step through ("cycle") the button assignment configurations in 3ds Max.

If you do not have a SpacePilot (original mode, not the PRO), then the function does not apply.

I have both pilots, and now I know that I can use this command for the SP only. Thank you, that's what I wanted to know.
