Just installed 3DxSoftware32_v3-12-3_r1057 and tried to use it with Google Earth 6.0.1.2032 but 3Dxware shows an error-dialog with a unhandled exception and it ask if I like to save a diagnostic-file for 3dxware. Then a standard MS dialog pops up and ask if I like to send a error report for 3Dsrv. Google Earth starts then and the controller in options gets deactivated.
3Dxware works fine with all demos and utilitys and in Sketchup 7+8.

Hi HPW,
please delete all Saved Configurations that might be related to Google Earth.
If you still get crash reports please send the dump file to the email address I will send you in a PM. Please describe when exactly you get the crash:

- Just the moment if you touch the cap of the device?
- After a while?
- When pressing any button of the 3D mouse?
- When pressing a specific button of the 3D mouse?

Hi Uta,
Deleting the saved configuration solved my problem.
No more crashes on start of google earth.
Related question:
When 3DConnexion-Driver is running (ControlPanelIcon in Tray) and I start Google earth then it uses the SpaceNavigator.
When I shut down the ControlPanel (LED no more blue light) and then I start Google Earth, it does not start the 3DConnexion-driver itself.
Starting Google Sketchup does this.
Any config option to let Google Earth start the driver?

No, sorry. This feature is implemented in the Sketchup plugin. Google Earth does not have this.HPW wrote:Related question:
